Connect the Hardware:
Plug the USB-C cord into the DigQuad and connect the other end to your computer.
Install Firmware:
Install version 14.1 onto the DigQuad. This process will typically involve downloading the firmware and flashing it using a tool like WLED web installer.
Wi-Fi Setup:
Once the firmware is installed, you’ll be prompted to configure your Wi-Fi settings. Enter the password corresponding to your Wi-Fi network to establish a connection.
Configure Settings:
Open the WLED app and navigate to the settings, then go to the "Config" section.
Adjust LED Preferences:
In the "LED Preferences" menu, ensure you enable the "Automatic Brightness Limiter" and set the maximum current to 4000mA to protect your LEDs from overheating.
Set LED Type and Count:
Under "LED Outputs," select the option for "SK6812/WS2814 RGBW" for the type of LEDs you are using.
Set the color order to RGB.
Input the total count of LEDs you’ve installed in that channel.
Configure GPIO Pins:
Make sure the "GPIO" setting for the main output is set to 16, ensuring correct data signal flow from the DigQuad to your LED setup.
